5 Year Old Female with Cerebral Palsy
The child was originally diagnosed at 6 months old.
The patients were participating in hyperbaric oxygen therapy only during their treatment at Cincinnati Hyperbarics.
Mom described her child’s condition prior to her taking hyperbaric oxygen treatment as, “She was pretty much immobile she couldn’t sit or hold her head up very well.”
After completing 120 hyperbaric treatments this is how mom described their experience:
“The Cole Center for Healing was wonderful to my family. We would visit Cincinnati for three weeks at a time to complete a full series of hyperbarics, and during our stay the staff and facility went above and beyond to ensure that we felt at home. My child has came a long way since we started treatments with hyperbarics, she is now pulling herself up, crawling everywhere, she is able to walk around by holding on to furniture around her, and advancing in so many other ways. I would highly recommend visiting to the Cole Center for Healing to get additional information and start treatment.”
5 Year Old Male with Cerebral Palsy
The child was diagnosed at birth.
The child received hyperbaric oxygen therapy only.
Mom describes her child’s condition prior to treatment as:
“My child’s vocabulary was very limited, not putting very many words together. He had a walker but was not proficient at using it. He was not able to pull up to a standing position. It was difficult for him to correct his foot placement and body alignment. He had a lot of difficulty with simple motor skills.”
After completing 80 hyperbaric oxygen treatments mom describes his progress:
“After completing 80 treatments my child is walking with us holding our hands. He is able to walk down steps independently. He is coloring, holding a pencil, and using scissors. He has come such a long way on his motor skills he is now able to perform intricate skills like putting together 100 piece puzzles. And the best reward is he is speaking in complete sentences ‘I love you Mama!’. I think back to the very beginning when the doctors told us we’d have to take him off the ventilator and just let him go, and he made it through.
Then the doctors said he would never roll over, sit, stand, or walk, we enjoy going back to our NKU reunion and showing off our walking, talking miracle! Our family sincerely believes that our child’s accomplishments were because he had hyperbaric oxygen treatments, and we recommend anyone that could benefit from this type of service go to the Cincinnati Hyperbaric website for more information and to have treatment.”
12 Year Old Male with a Brain Injury
The child was diagnosed with Brain Injury at the age of two.
The child received only hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
The mother of the 12 year old child described his condition prior to hyperbaric oxygen therapy:
“He could not talk, walk, roll, crawl, or sit without assistance.”
The mother recalls the child’s progress after 80 treatments of hyperbaric oxygen therapy:
“He is stronger when sitting or standing and does not need assistance with either now. He is more alert and maintains eye contact during conversations. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has been very beneficial, and we recommend the therapy for anyone with a neurological condition.”
Stroke
The same woman who is, respectively, the daughter and the wife
of the patients treated, describes these cases.
Female 88 years old
Therapies used include RIFE and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).
Suffered two strokes within 11 days of one another. The first
resulted in loss of ability to swallow and loss of speech (only
made guttural sounds). Her right side of the body was also weakened.
The second stroke took away much of her sight. For instance, she
couldn’t read in bed, couldn’t see which side of the
door had the doorknob, and couldn’t tell the washbasin from
the toilet.
Began HBOT about one month after the second stroke and within
20 treatments (10 days) could read the entire newspaper without
glasses. As treatments continued, angina and trouble going upstairs
gradually improved to moving upstairs with ease. Each series of
HBOT gives her more and more energy and her quality of speech
and life keep improving. She can now write and do simple useful
things around the house such as bathe herself after being set-up,
fix a breakfast of eggs and toast, clear the table and make the
bed.
The staff is very competent, friendly and sensitive to the
patients needs. I would absolutely recommend your facility, not
just for HBOT, but also for the way the approach addresses the
whole person and how Dr. Cole and the staff take a personal interest
in each individual.
Male 65 years old
Therapies used include Hair Analysis, Chelation, DMSO and Hyperbaric
Oxygen Therapy.
He suffered a stroke with a large intracranial bleed above
the brain stem. The stroke with complications added four comas,
three ventriculostomies, and three brain infections resulting
in three months in the intensive care unit. When discharged, he
was incontinent and could walk only with the support of a gait
belt and use of a cane. Long and short-term memory loss resulted
in not knowing his name, the year or month or where he was. There
was no ability to read, write or comprehend.
Within the first 4 HBOT treatments the incontinence disappeared.
As the first course of 50 treatments continued he began to dress
and groom himself without hands on help and supervision. Use a
knife and fork returned and he began to speak one or two words
at a time and say his name.
During the second course of 40 treatments he began to speak
in sentences, ask questions and let us know he was seeing double,
which was then corrected with special lenses. He started to take
some initiative as comprehension began to return.
During the third course of treatments, with more improvement
in long and short term memory, he could make simple plans and
carry them out. He keeps returning a little more to his former
self…so far he cannot work…but it seems the cobwebs in his head
are leaving and he is gaining more mental clarity and sharpness
in areas that serve the practicality of everyday life. He is happier
with himself. He likes to read, play cards, listen to music and
is starting to take part in conversations and his thinking [and]
expressive ability lets him ask questions now.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a slow miracle.
